You have no idea how exhausted I've been the past three days... and for me being this tired is oddly weird because I've never really been that tired... from anything before.
Thursday was the big trip to Denver with Cyndi for the Rockies game... they won, infact! It was my first time driving up the interstate that far as well as in Denver. I only got lost once, we were circling Coors Field for 20 minutes looking for the parking lot we were supposed to be in... lol. Other than that, I didn't get lost, which was pretty damn good because Denver as a whole is pretty damn confusing! lol
Yesterday was much more exhausting, actually. I spent over 11 hours at work with a two hour break, which I spent at the mall blowing money, between shifts. And, yes, it's kind of my fault for being there that long, but I didn't want to leave Sam and Jeff to fend for themselves for two hours since within that two hours, we still had two rushes... and by the time we closed at 11, we were out of the store by 11:15 with $18 in tips in each of our wallets... not bad, eh?
Today wasn't too bad, I had another trip to Denver for a family thing... more like a family reunion! Just about everyone on my dad's side was there with the exception of one aunt and one cousin... and that's including all of the relatives who last saw me when I was little... and believe me, I didn't know who the hell they were! lol, I am glad I got to see my cousin Adam, though. I haven't seen him in a couple years and he gave me the greatest "Hi Jennifer!" when he first spotted me in the house... then when my brother and I had to leave he gave me the biggest hug I've ever gotten. He squeezed me and actually lifted me off the ground... pretty crazy! lol, so yes, my brother and I had to leave early since I had a dance recital at 5 and he had to be at work at 6. It took us a record hour and a half to get home... not bad seeing as how it takes two hours for people who actually TAKE the speed limit... haha!
OK, so I'm in desperate need of HQ (UNTAGGED) logins for Icon International and LaMoine Photo Group. If you have one or both of the logins, I would be willing to trade or pay a small price to have the logins!
So as of 10am on Friday, May 2nd, I am officially on summer vacation. That is until I begin my two summer courses on the 12th. I had to work a double on Friday as well, then going straight to my dance show downtown. I didn't get home until about 10pm and I was passed out by 11ish. My show went well, actually. Both little Jennifer and I forgot at least two things in both of our dances so it's alright and the food was amazingly delicious. However, the grand finale was chaos... in the years before, it was at least organized and we knew what we were doing...
Anyways, I'm so excited to go see RENT tomorrow night. I'm making plans to go to dinner with Alicia, Amy, Kim, Joey, and I think Linda as well before the show, so we're going to have fun regardless. I'm so excited to see Rent, I can't even put it into words! I've been listening to BOTH soundtracks non-stop the past three days and I was planning on watching the movie tonight, but I guess I'll just watch it tomorrow. I've got orchestra seats so it should be amazing!
Then, if all goes well my bud Rich and I are going to the Rockies game on Thursday... I hope he has the money to go since if he won't be able to, I won't be able to find someone in time to go with me...! So I hope Rich can go because we'll have so much fun.
Til freedom. One hour of class tomorrow, a retarded concert out at the Fountain Plaza on campus, and four days of finals and juries next week and I'm free for the summer! Well... not really. One week of freedom before my two summer classes start. I still can't register for my fall classes yet, which sucks because classes are filling up fast and classes will start to close soon.
Anyhoohow! So, I watched Prom Night tonight... not bad, not bad. Could've been a little more suspenseful as a whole as well as longer. The murdering parts were predictable... Brittany Snow is a great actress and having a horror film under her belt now makes her more well-rounded with her resume. OK, well, I also watched 27 Dresses, Step Up 2: The Streets, and I started to watch Over Her Dead Body. Now, 27 Dresses was amazing! It was both hilarious and a little tearjerker a couple times, I really think Katherine Heigl's character will be me in five years... no joke! I think this movie gets to be put onto my favorites list. Onto Step Up 2, the general storyline and message in the movie was much better than the first one and some of the dancing was much better than the first movie as well, but I didn't like the soundtrack as much as the first movie, lol. I was glad they chose Robert Hoffman as the male lead this time around because I love his dancing and it was great for them to choose a good-looking unknown as the female lead.
Two concerts down... two to go. Well, at least I think it's two concerts... who really knows. Anyhoo, last night was the Small Ensemble Concert and tonight was the choir concert. There were a couple small rough patches throughout the concert, but overall, it was amazing! I can't wait to get a copy of the CD from Dr. Ihm next week. I'm sad that none of my friends went to the concert though... I mean, Amber went, but it's really only because her boyfriend was in the two choirs I was in.
After the concert, I went to IHOP with Andy & Rocky. Wow I heard about five stories from them and each one of them I laughed my ass off. I had a blast. It's been a while since I've hung out with Rocky and having Andy there just made it entertaining. We were there for about two hours...
I'm starting to doze off, so I better hit the sack.
